PEORIA, Ill. – Prosecutors have charged a man with multiple felony drug offenses after a drug bust at his Peoria home.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says charges against 43-year-old Edward Jackson include Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon.
Prosecutors say a search warrant was executed at Jackson’s North Valley home in the area of Spitznagle and Rock Island Avenue, where officers allegedly found a pound of heroin and a half pound of methamphetamine.
Police also allegedly found drug paraphernalia and a stolen handgun.
Jackson was ordered to remain in jail at a detention hearing on Friday.
