PEORIA, Ill. – Faulty electrical wiring is being blamed for a house fire Wednesday in Peoria’s East Bluff.
Peoria Fire crews responded to the area of Delaware and Arcadia just before 5:00 P.M., with smoke showing from a two-and-a-half story house.
The fire was put out within 15 minutes, and stopped before it could reach beyond the house’s attic. But the home sustained water damage on all levels.
Two adults that were inside at the time of the fire were able to escape before fire crews arrived.
No injuries were reported.
The Red Cross is providing housing for four adults.
