EAST PEORIA, Ill. (25 News) -The intersection near the Par-a-dice Hotel Casino was closed, and traffic was diverted due to a collision Thursday night.
25 News reports the crash happened around 9 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Blackjack Boulevard.
Illinois State Police, East Peoria Police, and the Fondulac Park District Police were on scene, diverting traffic using Access Road 2.
Officers on scene were unable to offer specifics about what type of collision happened.
Traffic was impacted for several hours, but the intersection was reopened late Thursday night.
