***UPDATED***
The lawsuit RC Outfitters Owner and Operator Adam White has filed against Gov. J.B. Pritzker has been pushed back at least another week.
Peoria County Judge Derek Asbury told both parties Thursday he wanted to deliberate a change of venue to Springfield, a request of Pritzker.
That ruling is scheduled to come down Thurs., May 14 at 1 P.M., though Asbury said he could come to a ruling sooner.
Should Asbury rule in favor of Pritzker’s requested change of venue, White said, it would be up to the court in Springfield as to when the case would be heard.
However, if Asbury should rule to keep the case in Peoria County, White added, arguments could begin the same day.

PEORIA, Ill. — RC Outfitters Owner and Operator Adam White is suing Gov. J.B. Pritzker over the stay-at-home order.
White told WMBD News the lawsuit is based on a law that states the executive order is good for 30 days, which White said would have expired Apr. 9.
State Rep. Darren Bailey successfully sued Pritzker over the stay-at-home in late April in a Clay County court.
White said what differentiates the company’s lawsuit from Bailey’s lawsuit is, RC Outfitters is claiming irreparable damage.
He said as a business, loss can be quantified by being forced to close.
White’s hearing was set for 10 A.M. Thursday in Peoria County Court.
According to White, Pritzker filed a motion for a change of venue to Springfield. If that were to be granted, a new hearing would likely be scheduled for next week.
However, if it isn’t granted, the judge overseeing the case locally could grant a temporary restraining order, in which case the store could operate as normal while likely being appealed, as White predicted.
RC Outfitters reopened Monday, May 4. White said the suit is to ensure the store is absolved of any potential legal repercussions for reopening.
