The Peoria County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a crash in Peoria County.
The crash occurred around 8:50 a.m. Friday on the Princeville-Jubilee Blacktop at Chase Lane.
Michael Bricker, 70, of Peoria was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Bricker was driving a truck that was struck head-on by a vehicle that crossed the center line.
The other driver, Lisa Gillum, 39, of Princeville, was transported to OSF Saint Francis Medical Center with “serious but non-life threatening injuries,” according to Peoria County Sheriff Brian Asbell.
Gillum was ticketed for reckless driving, driving in the wrong lane and improper lane usage. Asbell had said it was being investigated whether Gillum was texting while driving.
