PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police are seeking the help from the public in the identification of individuals from a shooting incident on July 19th in Peoria.
Police responded in the area of Water and Hamilton St around 4:40 a.m. of a gathering of close to 200 people.
A total of 13 people suffered gunshot wounds from the incident.
According to Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson, detectives are seeking the identity of the individuals and other persons of interest.
“There are a significant number of witnesses to the violence that occurred on the riverfront that morning,” said Dotson
Police are asking if you are a witness or have any information from that morning, detectives would like to hear from you.
