PEORIA, Ill. — Peoria Police responded around 11:40 p.m. Sunday to the 400 block of W. Columbia Terrace on reports of a shooting.
A ShotSpotter alert indicated one round was fired.
“Officers arrived on scene, located a male victim with a gunshot wound. The male was transported to a local hospital where he was listed in critical condition,” said Peoria Public Information Officer Amy Dotson.
Police do not have any suspects at this time.
The incident remains under investigation.
