Matthew Isbell, 21, of Marquette Heights, was sentenced to 12 years in prison Monday after pleading guilty to second degree murder charges in the stabbing death of Theresa Ann Poehlman.
Isbell received credit for 750 days already served.
Co-defendant Christine Roush, who is the victim’s biological daughter, pleaded guilty to murder in December and is serving 40 years in prison.
Poehlman’s body was found in a wooded area at Funks Grove in July 2017.
