Police say Alexis Scott was last seen in the early morning hours of September 23rd, 2017 at a party in Peoria.
Nearly a year after her disappearance, Peoria Police said a search was active, and they believed Alexis Scott was still alive.
Over the past two years, police talked to people who were at the house where Alexis Scott was last seen, executed search warrants, added her name to a national missing persons database, and spent many hours on the case.
Now, a Facebook group dedicated to keeping the search for Alexis Scott going, has turned over new information to police, who are investigating it. The nature of that information has not been made public.
