PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University officials have announced they plan to return the institution to full-time traditional learning, complete with regular campus life and extracurricular activities, for the 2021-2022 school year.
Remote learning began when the coronavirus pandemic hit during the 2019-2020 spring semester.
President Stephen Standifird said the university has projected this will be possible based on current scientific data.
“We are still closely monitoring the virus, the vaccination process and the multiple variants popping up around the globe. We will remain agile and ready to modify our behaviors and operations if warranted,” he said.
He added any precautions as mandated by state, local, or federal officials would be followed, such as masking and social distancing.
As of the 2020-2021 spring semester, 60% of classes were being conducted in person.
