TREMONT, Ill. – Two people were sent to the hospital after a car vs. motorcycle crash Monday morning.
The Tazewell County Sheriff’s Office says the crash occurred in front of the American Legion Hall near Tremont in the area of Lake Windemere Road and Illinois Route 9 at around 10:50 A.M.
Authorities says the 94-year-old driver of the car turned in front of the motorcyclist.
The car’s driver and the motorcyclist were taken to the hospital, with the motorcyclist suffering a leg injury.
The motorcyclist was reportedly not wearing a helmet.
No word on if citations will be issued.
