PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria County grand jury has weighed in regarding a recent stabbing death ruled a homicide.
The grand jury Tuesday filed two counts of First-Degree Murder against Lauraine Singleton, 41.
Singleton was arrested not long after the May 14th incident on Morgan Street, near the North Valley and downtown Peoria.
Davis allegedly stabbed James Davis, 50, in the chest. He died at a local hospidal.
Singleton is jailed on $1 million bond and will be arraigned Thursday.
