PEORIA, Ill. — Bradley University will be holding vaccination clinics Monday, April 12 and Tuesday, April 13 in the Markin Center after receiving 1,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine from the Peoria City/County Health Department.
Appointments will be required, and Bradley is asking students to account for 30 minutes at their appointment.
The Markin Center Performance Court, MAC court and Court #3 will be closed from 7 a.m., April 12, to 5:30 p.m., April 13, in order to accommodate the clinics.
The second dose for students who receive the first dose will be received just before students start summer break.
Priority is being given to students to receive the vaccine due to the close proximity to each other in their living arrangements. If there are additional doses available, they will be made available to faculty and staff.
Bradley also reminded students a vaccination appointment is not an excuse for missing a class or final exam.
Students can register for a vaccine appointment at https://bucovidvaccine.youcanbook.me. A Bradley ID will be needed to enter Markin.
