PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Civic Center announced multiple music and stand-up shows in its Theater on Tuesday.
Rock band 311 will be bringing their fall tour to Peoria on September 20th. They will headline a show that also features AWOLNATION and Blame My Youth as special guests.
311 formed in 1990 in Nebraska and brings a style that mixes rock, rap, reggae, and funk. Ten of their albums have reached the Top 100 on Billboard’s Top 200 Sales Chart. Nine of their singles, including “Come Original” and “All Mixed Up,” reached the Top 10 on the Billboard Alternative Radio Chart.
Legendary guitarist Ted Nugent will make a stop in Peoria on July 29th. He has best-known for performing on hit songs such as “Cat Scratch Fever,” “Strangehold,” and “High Enough” by the Damn Yankees.
Nugent has been performing since 1963 when he helped form the band The Amboy Dukes, where he was the lead guitarist and provided vocals.
He has also been featured on VH1’s Behind the Music and A&E’s Biography.
Stand-up comedian Nikki Glaser will be bringing her “The Good Girl Tour” to the Civic Center Theater on September 16th.
Glaser hosts a daily show, “The Nikki Glaser Podcast,” and last July hosted her first HBO comedy special, “Good Clean Filth.”
She is the executive producer of multiple sitcoms and reality shows, as well as performing on multiple Comedy Central Roasts.
Tickets for all three shows will go on sale Friday at 10:00 A.M. at the Toyota Box Office at the Civic Center.
