DAVENPORT, Ia. (FOX News) — The dismantling process for a downtown Davenport, Iowa, apartment building that partially collapsed late last month is set to begin on Monday.
City officials publishing a statement about the timing Sunday night.
The move comes after city officials and structural engineers, regulatory authorities and contracting companies met last week, deciding when and how to fully take the building down.
Last week the bodies of three men were removed from the site, about a week after part of the century-old building tumbled to the ground.
