Police are looking for someone who robbed a business with a machete

PEORIA, Ill. – Police want your help figuring out who might have committed an armed robbery at a South Peoria business, allegedly using a machete.

Peoria Police went to the business on Southwest Adams near Griswold they otherwise did not identify around 8:30 Tuesday night.

They say someone entered the store with the machete and wearing a makeshift mask, got away with an undisclosed amount of cash from a register, and fled toward Oregon Street, but couldn’t be found.
