UPDATED 1:05 P.M. 8/15
EAST PEORIA, Ill. – A boil order has been lifted for most of downtown East Peoria.
The boil order was needed after a water main break occurred on W. Camp St. near Main Street on Monday.
The Levee District, Bass Pro Drive, Main St., and Washington St. were areas affected.
The boil order is still in place between Altorfer Lane and Main Street on W. Camp.
W. Camp is still closed in that area as crews work to repair the road after the water main break.
The boil advisory for most of the downtown area and North Main Street has been lifted, EXCEPT for these addresses: 104 – 242 W. Camp St. (excluding 108), and 301 N. Main St. Those addresses are still under the boil advisory until further notice. pic.twitter.com/Ys8L9Ozla2
