PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria man remains in jail after a gun and drugs allegedly were found in his possession early Tuesday morning.
Peoria Police say they pulled 41-year-old Ronnie Winfield, Jr.’s vehicle over near Madison and Cornhill in the North Valley around 2:00 a.m., and found a so-called ghost gun inside the vehicle, along with drugs they did not identify on him.
Police charged Winfield with Possession of a Firearm Without a FOID Card, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Possession of a Firearm with No Serial Number.
