PEORIA, Ill. – Former Reditus Labs CEO Aaron Rossi is back in federal custody, at least until a hearing next week to determine whether he once again violated terms of his pre-trial release.
That’s according to federal court records. A hearing was started Friday on the matter, but Rossi’s attorney told the court he hasn’t received all the needed documents yet.
A television station report indicates Rossi may have sold more of his vehicles than he was recommended or allowed to, after being arrested on federal mail fraud and filing false tax returns, stemming from some of the years prior to the opening of Reditus, which is now in receivership.
The hearing on the potential pre-trial release violation will be held Tuesday afternoon, with Rossi being able to participate via Zoom while in custody.
Rossi was given electronic monitoring after allegedly violating the release at least five other times.
