PEORIA, Ill. – The second installment of real estate taxes in Peoria County are due Wednesday.
Peoria County Treasurer Nicole Bjerke says there’s multiple options for people to pay their taxes; at most banks in the county, by mail, in-person at the Treasurer’s Office, online with a credit card or electronic check, or through telephone.
The Treasurer’s Office is open from 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. weekdays in the Peoria County Courthouse. Peoria City Hall is no longer an option to make real estate tax payments.
Those choosing to mail their payment in must have it postmarked by September 6th to not be considered late. Any late payment is subject to penalties.
Duplicate bills can be printed online at the Peoria County website.
