PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police say three people were arrested for two separate Labor Day weekend shooting incidents.
Peoria Police say in one late Sunday night, Jevarion Scott, 29, fired a gun near Ellington and Knoxville, but was released from custody after being given Notices to Appear in court on three felony weapons charges.
Then, just a few hours later, several ShotSpotter alerts were reported mostly on Northeast Perry, totaling five rounds fired.
Stacey Rubini, 29, allegedly fled on foot but was later taken into custody for Obstructing Police.
After a K9 found the handgun, police arrested Clifford Headley, 52, and charged him with several felony weapons counts.
Headley remains jailed but Rubini was released.
