PEORIA, Ill. – A teenage boy has died after a shooting early Friday night in Central Peoria.
The boy was found just before 7 p.m. on N. Great Oak Road, near Parkwood Commons, with gunshot wounds.
The teen was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, becoming Peoria’s 20th homicide victim of the year.
Peoria County Coroner Jamie Harwood has not yet released the teen’s name or any details of his death.
Police have no suspects.
