BALTIMORE, Md. – Officials say at least five people were wounded Tuesday evening, none of them critically, in a shooting at Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.
The shooting happened as students were headed to a homecoming week campus ball.
Fox News reports a shelter-in-place order was lifted by the university around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Baltimore Police Commissioner Richard Worley said the five people who were shot, four men and one woman, are between the ages of 18 and 22.
Police have not released any information about any suspects, and they didn’t know how many shooters were involved in the incident.
Morgan State University President David Wilson canceled Wednesday classes, and plans to hold an emergency meeting Wednesday morning to decide whether to go ahead with homecoming week events or not.
