PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria woman says in a time when the city is experiencing so much violence, you can always spread a little love.
That’s just what our news partner 25 News says Tina Foley was doing Friday.
“I cooked home-cooked meals in memory of everybody who have lost their lives in the City of Peoria, or really anywhere,” said Foley, “to bring a little sprinkle of love as opposed to all the violence that’s going on in the community. I think it’s important.”
Foley and some friends cooled 50 catfish and spaghetti dinners she handed out to anyone who wanted one Friday. But, there was one condition: they had to read a message encouraging those who see it to, in her words, “sprinkle” a little love.
