One person was taken to a local hospital after suffering injuries in a three vehicle accident involving a school bus this (Wednesday) morning.
The Peoria Fire Department says there were no children on-board the District 150 bus at the time of the crash, which occurred just before 6:30 A.M. at Knoxville and McClure.
Three people involved in the crash refused medical transport.
The intersection was closed for some time.
The accident is under investigation.

PEORIA, Ill. – A school bus was involved in a head-on collision Wednesday morning, at Knoxville and McClure in Peoria, shutting down the intersection for some time.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says it happened just after 6:30 a.m., involving at least three vehicles.
The school bus was empty at the time of the crash, no children were on board.
Roth says drivers of the other vehicles suffered minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation.
