PEORIA, Ill. – A 17-year-old male suffered non-life-threatening injuries after being shot early Thursday morning.
Peoria Police says officers were dispatched to a local hospital just after 1:00 A.M. on reports of a victim that arrived via private vehicle.
The 17-year-old told officers that he was shot while walking in the area of Nebraska and New York by an unknown person in a passing vehicle.
Police currently have no suspects as they investigate.
