PEORIA, Ill. – Peoria Police are investigating shots fired from Wednesday afternoon that placed Rolling Acres Middle School on a brief lockdown.
A PPD spokeswoman says officers responded to the area of Graceland and Austin Drives just before 2:30 P.M., where residents reported 20-25 shots fired.
There were no injuries reported, and police have no suspects at this time.
The lockdown at Rolling Acres has since been lifted.
