PEORIA, Ill. — One of three juveniles shot at on their way to school Thursday morning near Manual High School was apparently hit in the leg.
Police Spokesperson Semone Roth says that the 17-year-old boy’s injuries were non-life-threatening.
There’s no word on any suspects.
The incident, that happened just before 7:30 a.m. in the area of W. Ann and Westmoreland, is still being investigated.

Police Spokesperson Semone Roth tells WMBD Radio News that it happened around 7:27 a.m. in the area of W. Ann and Westmoreland, and that no one was shot.
PPD has no suspects at this time and they’re investigating.
