PEORIA, Ill. – One of the two men accused in a fatal shooting from February in Peoria has been arrested in a neighboring state.
Peoria Police says 21-year-old Donte T. Agnew was arrested November 9th in Crown Point, Indiana and extradited back to Peoria County.
Agnew and 25-year-old Torreon Carey are both suspects in the death of 18-year-old Davion Parker on February 11th. Parker was reportedly shot in the head, with his body found in a car in the road near Lexington Hills Apartments.
Agnew was arrested on a charge of First Degree Murder and taken to the Peoria County Jail. Carey has not been found yet by police.
Police described Carey as a black male, around 5’6”, 140 pounds, long black and red hair, and brown eyes.
