WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, the House of Representatives may vote to formalize their impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden.
House Rules Committee members tell Fox News that they will consider a resolution to formalize the impeachment inquiry on Tuesday, the full House could vote before leaving for winter break.
Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer has said it would strengthen their case. Nebraska Congressman Don Bacon didn’t want to launch an inquiry in the first place, now says a formal one is needed, as the White House is refusing to hand over documents.
The chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, Jason Smith, says a formal inquiry is needed now, to provide Americans information after Hunter Biden’s indictment in Los Angeles.
Hunter Biden is facing nine charges, including three felonies over failing to pay his taxes, after receiving millions of dollars from foreign entities as part of the family business.
