NEW YORK – Snow is often the element associated with Christmas. But, New England is dealing with rain storms instead.
According to FOX Weather, after Florida was hit with tropical storm-like conditions Saturday, the same system is now moving up the East Coast, and is expected to bring high winds, floods, and potential severe weather.
That could disrupt holiday travel by both plane and car.
The storm was already hitting the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states Monday morning, FOX Weather says, causing an estimated 300,000-plus power outages.
Some of the rain could change into snow by Monday night in parts of the Appalachian states.
