PEORIA, Ill. – We’re learning more about the attempted armed robbery in South Peoria Monday that injured one person and resulted in the arrest of another.
Peoria Police say it happened at the Dollar General on Southwest Adams around 12:20 p.m.
A police spokeswoman says shots had been fired and someone inside the store suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Meanwhile, the alleged shooter had fled the scene but was arrested a short time later.
Shiloe Beasley, 29, Bartonville, faces Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery, and Unlawful Possession of a Weapon charges, and was taken to jail.
