LEWISTOWN, Ill. – A home in nearby Fulton County got extensive damage after fire broke out Saturday morning.
Crews were called to the home near the intersection of Avenue G and Madison Streets in Lewistown around 5:45 a-m.
Firefighters believe the blaze was accidental, but 25 News reports the department and state fire marshal are still investigating.
An estimated $75,000 in damage was done, with a lot of damage done to the home’s roof.
It’s not believed anyone was injured. Three other departments provided mutual aid to Lewistown Fire.
