LOS ANGELES – Movie and television actress, and Illinois native Cindy Morgan has died.
Morgan is best known for playing blonde bombshell Lacey Underall in the classic 1980 movie “Caddyshack,” alongside Bill Murray and Chevy Chase.
Morgan also had a starring role in the 1982 film “Tron,” for which she had two roles.
FOX News reports Morgan also appeared in a number of TV shows over the years, including “The Love Boat,” “The Fall Guy,” “The Larry Sanders Show” and others.
Morgan started out as a weather forecaster at a TV station in Rockford, according to a biography, before becoming a Chicago radio DJ, prior to a move to Los Angeles.
Morgan’s body was found by police inside her home in Lake Worth Beach, prior to the new year.
FOX News reports Morgan is believed to have died of natural causes. She was 69 years old.
