HANNA CITY, Ill. – A machine shed on a farm in Hanna City caught on fire Wednesday morning, causing a big fire response.
Firefighters from Logan-Trivoli and seven other departments helped put the blaze off Smithville Road out.
Logan-Trivoli Fire Assistant Chief Zac Oedewaldt said the cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Office of the State Fire Marshal.
The fire started around 9:30 a.m., and that the shed had as much as $250,000 worth of equipment inside at the time.
The fire caused a partial roof collapse. The building and its contents were a total loss.
Damage is estimated at $300,000.
