PEORIA, Ill. – One person was treated for injuries after a fire in Peoria’s North Valley Wednesday afternoon.
Peoria Fire crews arrived on scene around 1:30 p.m. at Northeast Perry near Morton to find flames coming out of a second story window and heavy smoke from the roof.
The fire was put out in 15 minutes, but there were minor flare-ups throughout the afternoon.
As much as $75,000 in damage was done, but a cause is still being investigated, including the use of two arson dogs.

Peoria Fire says crews responded to the home on NE Perry at around 1:30 P.M. They arrived to find flames coming out of a second story window, and heavy smoke from the roof.
25 News reports it took about 15 minutes to put the fire out.
One person was released after being treated for injuries.
A cause of the fire and damage estimates are currently unknown.
