PEORIA, Ill. – A car fire in Peoria on Sunday caused $30,000 in damages after spreading to a home nearby.
Peoria Fire Battalion Chief Ryan Calhoun says crews responded to the fire around 11:40 a.m., finding a car on fire in a driveway on NE Glendale Avenue.
Calhoun says firefighters used hose lines to put the fire out. It only reached the home’s exterior and didn’t damage the house.
The cause of the fire was deemed unintentional. No injuries were reported.
