HANNA CITY, Ill. – The Peoria County Sheriffs Department is investigating after at least two ATM’s were damaged Wednesday.
Sheriffs deputies say the CEFCU ATM on Farmington Road in Hanna City was targeted, as was one from Hanna City Community Bank.
25 News reports someone tried to steal the machines but the cash storage vaults weren’t accessed.
A vehicle authorities believed was used in the attempted heists was found abandoned behind Farmington Road Storage.
No one is in custody so far.
