PEORIA, Ill. – Arson is being cited as the cause of a fire early Sunday morning in Peoria.
Peoria Fire says crews were called to the house in the area of Peoria and Illinois Avenues just after 12:45 A.M.
They arrived to find fire coming from the second-floor window, as well as the exterior of the back of the home.
Firefighters entered through the front of the home to battle the blaze.
There were no victims found in the home, and it was unoccupied at the time.
No injuries were reported, and damage is estimated at around $60,000.
