PEORIA, Ill. – A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in Peoria’s West Bluff early Wednesday morning.
Peoria Police says officers responded to the area of Broadway and Columbia Terrace just after 1:20 A.M. on reports of a gunshot victim.
They arrived to find an adult male victim inside a house with an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. He told investigators an unknown man kicked in his front door before opening fire.
Peoria Police say they currently do not have any suspects, and the shooting is under investigation.
