SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – Both of the multi-state lottery games you can play in Illinois are now more than a half-billion dollars.
Friday night’s Mega Millions has a top prize of $687 million, with a take home cash value amount of $332.3 million.
The Mega Millions jackpot has been growing since two tickets in California split a top prize of $394 million on December 8th, 2023.
If you’re unlucky in that game, you could try your luck at a $521 million jackpot in Saturday night’s Powerball game. The take home value of that prize is $249.1 million.
The jackpot has rolled over in that game since a winning ticket worth $842 million was purchased in Michigan on New Year’s Day.
