PEORIA, Ill. – A Peoria woman has been indicted by a local grand jury for allegedly falsifying her time sheet as a state contractor.
Peoria County Court records indicate Tarita Mack, 41, has been charged with counts of Vendor Fraud, Theft of Government Property, and Forgery.
The grand jury alleges that in a series of occasions, one of which occurred after March first of 2019, Mack submitted false time sheets to the Illinois Department of Human Services, under their Division of Rehabilitation Services.
She is alleged to have done that to the tune of more than $10,000.
It’s not clear when Mack will next be in court, or if she is in custody.
