EAST PEORIA, Ill. – Two animals and a resident were able to escape a house fire in East Peoria Wednesday morning without injury.
East Peoria Fire says crews were called to the two-story home just after 5:45 A.M. in the area of Prospect and Randolph.
Fire was heavy on the main floor, and was put under control by firefighters within 15 minutes.
No firefighters were injured, and the fire is under investigation.
Damage is estimated at around $60,000.
