PEORIA, Ill. – Police are investigating a shooting from Tuesday night in Peoria’s East Bluff that sent a man to the hospital
Peoria Police say ten rounds were fired in the area of the 400-block of East Republic just after 10:00 P.M.
No victims were found, but police say shell casings were found nearby in the area of Frye and California.
Officers then learned an adult male was taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle.
They then learned the victim was traveling in a vehicle that was shot in the area the shots were fired, and that he was not shot but sustained a cut to the face that came from broken glass during the shooting.
Peoria Police currently do not have any suspects.
