PEORIA, Ill. – There is potential for some severe weather Monday and Tuesday, according to 25 News First Alert Chief Meteorologist Chuck Collins.
“We could see isolated severe cells this (Monday) afternoon after 2:00 and until sunset. Localized large hail and damaging winds will be the primary threats,” Collins says.
Weather watchers’ attention will turn Tuesday evening to the possibility of widespread severe weather with all hazards in play, including a few tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds, according to Collins.
