EUREKA, Ill. – A two-vehicle crash near Eureka sent both drivers to a local hospital.
Woodford County Chief Deputy Dennis Tipsword said the crash occurred just before 2:00 p,m. on Route 24 about one mile east of Eureka.
Tipsword said a westbound Jeep SUV crossed the center line and struck an eastbound semi on the semi’s drive tires causing the semi to roll over.
Both drivers were transported to local hospitals for treatment. There is no word on the drivers’ conditions.
The accident remains under investigation.
