PEORIA, Ill. – One of the three suspects arrested in connection to a shooting incident at a Peoria Heights gas station was ordered to remain in jail.
The Peoria County State’s Attorney’s Office says a petition to detain 18-year-old Brailen Moore was granted on Friday.
Peoria Heights Police say Moore was arrested in connection to the incident Sunday afternoon at the Beck’s on War Memorial at around 5:45 P.M. 22-year-old Gage Spengler was also arrested Thursday with Moore, and 22-year-old Jontin Evans was arrested Wednesday, both in connection to the shooting.
Prosecutors say surveillance video showed Moore and another passenger approached another male pumping gas, with the three arguing.
Moore and the passenger returned to their vehicle, when prosecutors allege Moore pulled out a gun and fired it nine times out the window at the man he was arguing with.
No one was injured, but prosecutors say the victim’s vehicle was struck multiple times.
Moore is due back in court for an arraignment on June 20th.
