PEORIA, Ill. – The Peoria Public Schools board added a new member this week, and they need one more.
The district says a vacancy has been created in District Three after the resignation of Anni Reinking.
Those interested in the position must be a U.S. citizen, be at least 18 years old, a registered voter, and have lived in the district for at least one year.
Applications are being accepted electronically through July 12th to Board Secretary Cami Ross.
The person selected to fill Reinking’s seat will serve until July 1st, 2026.
On Monday, the board swore-in Christina Rose to replace Chase Klaus at the board’s reorganization meeting. The meeting also saw Paris McConnell elected as the board’s new president.
