PEORIA, Ill. – Two men were arrested after a firearm was found early Friday in an unoccupied vehicle in downtown Peoria.
Police say a Glock handgun was reportedly seen by officers in the vehicle during a patrol in the area of Jefferson and Harrison just before 3:15 A.M.
Officers soon after watched two adult men and an adult female enter the vehicle, then detaining all three during a search of the vehicle.
Police reportedly found and seized two handguns during the search.
22-year-old Brandon Jackson and 23-year-old Jayshawn Johnson were both arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
Both were taken to the Peoria County Jail, while the female was released.
