PEORIA, Ill. – OSF Healthcare says it is conducting an investigation of a social media post by an employee allegedly regarding the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump.
The X account Libs of TikTok on Sunday night shared screencaps of a post reportedly from a lab assistant at OSF, allegedly saying “it’s a shame they missed.”
The person later claimed their account was hacked, and did not make the post.
A statement from OSF says they do not share private personnel information.
The statement continues to say it condemns any words or actions that “seek to marginalize or harm others” including online activity.
OSF says there is a strict social media policy each Mission Partner is expected to follow, and disciplinary action may occur by failing to do so.
